A medium jar hand thrown on the wheel in porcelain, with an upstanding rim and wide shoulders tapering to a narrow base. The jar is decorated with carved steps that descend subtly down the body of the pot, and glazed in a glossy pale blue-green celadon. The glaze pools pleasingly in the steps. A shallow foot is carved into the base.
